God Knows That About You!

Good morning! I really feel like there are some of you readers that really need to hear what I have to write about today. These people need to be encouraged. You might be going through something really bad. But hopefully my words that I'm going to share today will make whatever it is that you were going through not too BAD.

Let me start with a Bible story. Maybe, you have read this story before? Maybe you have not. Maybe you heard a little bit about it from one of my writings. I know in the past I did do a little reading on the story as well.

This is the Bible story of Abraham, Sarah, and Isaac. Basically, Sarah and Abraham were trying to have a child but just would always fail and just
was very unsuccessful for years. Until, the Lord healed Sarah's baroness. When Sarah was around 80 or 90 something years old, she gave birth to Isaac.

Can you guys imagine how much Abraham and Sarah probably loved this kid? He was like the miracle baby! They probably really loved him!

Many many years later, the Lord did this. The Lord wanted Abraham to take his son Isaac and sacrifice him. God wanted Abraham to kill his son as an offering to the Lord. I know right! Doesn't that sound pretty heinous?

Abraham loved the Lord. His love for the Lord was way ahead of his love for his son. And, he was going to do what the Lord wanted him to do. On the day of the sacrifice, when Abraham's hand was about to slay his son, the angel Gabriel stopped him before he could kill his son. So the happy ending to that story is Isaac didn't die.

Some important things to take from that story is this.
First of all I have no idea why God did what he did, but he did it. And, he might be doing something similar to you right now. Maybe, not as extreme as slaying your son to death, but you guys know what it is.

Consider this. God allowed whatever is happening to you because he knows that you can handle it. He doesn't give us stuff that he knows we cannot handle. That's not his style!

Friends, we need to be encouraged that whatever we are going through right now will get better in the end. But if it won't, God knows we can handle whatever we're going through so I'm pretty sure he's going to give you strength in many ways so you can handle it better!

Just ask him!
