Love Your Parents! (Yesterday's Writing)

This is a writing I began yesterday. Sorry I'm posting it a day late!  Better late than never! :-) Shout out to Tony and Boz. Thank you Tony very much for unzipping open my makeup  bag. Thank you Boz and Tony for accepting my card. I pray you will be encouraged by the writings! Enjoy the rest of your day!

Shout out to my friend Jose's daughters' Ruth and Mary! I pray you will be encouraged by the writings! You two ladies should stop by one time here at Starbucks! Have a great day!

Shame! on me! I know I didn't publish a writing yesterday.. With that said I have a writing today.

My writing for today really hits me because it's so close to home. Let me ask you something. Do you choose to honor God?  I want to write about one command that the children of God should really remember. I'm sure there are other young adults, younger children, similar or differing aged adults who need this reminder as well.

The command from God is to honor our parents. I have my deep thoughts, examples from my life, which are good and bad. And, I'm sure you all do as well. Both of us parties, the reader and the writer do not need further elaboration. We are smart people, and we can figure it out ourselves.

Fellow readers it is not rocket science, when I say that each and everyone of us have parents. Some might even be parents sadly to say deceased. Some may have had parents or were parents temporarily.
People may have lost their children due to whatever reason. Believe me, those times are the worst times ever!
It's a hurtful scar that pops out of nowhere and just slowly begins to sting you

Anyway, let me talk about us having parents. You guys and Sam were given our parents my God. You may endure bad times with your parents, but God will never make us go through a Temptation that we just cannot bear. Remember God is faithful and will provide a way out for us to stand up under it.

Our parents may not say it a lot.  But, we need to know that they do. I'm talking about loving us. Our parents have love languages like we do. Maybe their love language is quality time. Think of how your parents use that. Maybe their love language is acts of service. Do you notice that your mom and dad like to do stuff for you? Maybe our parents love language is about gifts. Do  they like to buy stuff for you all the time or offer to buy stuff for you?

Other people in this world may let you down big time. But, God allowed us to have our parents to help us if ever that were to happen. I know you're thinking your parents would never do that right? Well, if it's true then you my friends have a different story and depending on how the situation is I suggest perhaps getting professional help. Another thing God provided as well.

Our parents are a gift from God. Thinking you don't really agree with that. Some people don't. And, some people do. I really do.

Friends, your parents aren't going to be with you forever. So, I suggest making precious memories with them you can take with you all the way to your last day on Earth. God is a spiritual father. A father that we can't actually touch and see. But, we can talk to him through prayer and I believe that we receive his response when we read the Bible. Or, maybe we get a response when we speak to other people. Believe me we just know if we are getting a
God response.

Encouraging thought of the day:

Tell your parents you love them!

Colossians 3:20 ESV

Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord.

Ephesians 6:1 ESV

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right

Colossians 3:14 ESV

And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.

Proverbs 22:6 ESV

Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.
