Then, there are some people who really don't like it. I personally don't mind it. Yes, I am a hugger. I'm thinking the only place people who mind it, should not mind it is when this happens. If people are sick, like me, right now, we shouldn't mind the touch of a docto checking us out. I mean, we have to let the doctor touch us. How are they going to figure out what's truly wrong with us? How are they going to prescribe what medicine we need?
I guess they can
go by what one can
see but would one really want the doctor to do that? Or, do you want the doctor to be more accurate with their diagnosis. Do you want them to be picking the correct medicine to make you feel better? That's what I thought. :)
I know I have said many times before, that when my hands and feet get cold I like to blow-dry them. So, that is probably anytime I am sitting still for quite some time. Kinda like now I'm blow drying my body as I speak this writing on my phone.
Some days during the week my hands and feet get cold, but I really don't have any energy to hold the blow dryer. When that happens, my caregiver comes to the rescue. She would begin to bow dry my body especially the hands and feet
Thank God for that. The other day I told her thank you. I knew she doesn't like feet. She would tell me not to tell her husband because she just would never touch his feet.
She said at least my feet are clean looking, minus the crusty stuff LOL.
As God gives us opportunities we can really show we care and show compassion with our personal touch. For example, let's take "hugging." The other day, my husband told me he liked hugging. And, we really should hug more. I said okay.
See, there really is power when people toucb. Could result good of an impact or a bad thing.
Matthew 9:20-22 New International Version (NIV)
20 Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak.21 She said to herself, “If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.22 Take heart daughter,” he said, “your faith has healed you. And the woman was healed at that moment.
