He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”
When you see a person with tears in their eyes what is the first thing you think? Well, if you don't know the person or their situation then I'm assuming you don't know what to think. On the other hand, if you do know the person, you are very informed of what the situation is about, then you know what the tears are all about. Oh yeah, that makes perfect sense right?
For example, if you're looking at people crying at a funeral? The obvious and logical reaction is to think " Oh this person has tears in their eyes because of course, they are sad they lost their loved one. On the flip side maybe you see someone crying and their facial expression is so happy. This person starts exclaiming how happy they were they won the lottery!
Then sometimes we're just kept in the dark and see someone sitting at like a Starbucks, drinking a cup of coffee, and tearing up because of something we don't know anything about.
There is power in tears. Sometimes the reason for the tears is easily exposed. Some of the times, it's just not. Why do people cry? Why do you cry?
Why does Sam cry? I could point out reasons why certain people cry. I could share the reasons why I cry. However, I'm not going to do that. I'm not going to call people out.
What I am going to do is this. Share my deep thoughts. You or me are not going to know all the time why people cry. I don't think we should nag, or pester them by annoyingly trying to get an answer of why they are crying.
Maybe they don't want to tell you. Maybe they don't know how to tell you. Maybe they don't even know why they're even shedding a tear?
Don't care why. Just show that you care. Don't keep asking. Just try hugging. Let me leave you guys with this deep thought. Friends, we don't have to worry about the sad tears. God promises that he will wipe away every tear!
