Continuing on with the Power Series. Part 16: Power Of Tatoos. I know right? Believe me I did not think I was going to write about this in my power series. However, now I'm thinking how could I not include this in my power series? Time to dive in!
I wouldn't be surprised if any one of my readers have a tattoo. I have a tattoo. Yes I know it's probably hard to believe that Sam has a tattoo? It's actually a rather interesting story about how that came about.
When I was 19 around my birthday I used to work at ---Credit Union. I would actually just walk to work. It was like a block away from my parents house.
I was already a Christian, but not really a mature Christian, yet. (Remember me writing about the conveyor belt).
Anyway, I remember being pretty good friends with my coworker, Kelly. She knew someone who would be able to give me a tattoo for $20.
At those times
I had really good penmanship. Now, when I write anything sometimes it's just
totally unable to read. Before was different.
I remember the tattoo artist liked my handwriting so much that he wanted me to write his name and then he was going to tattoo it on his neck. So, I wrote his name.
Then, he performed his deed, and I ended up with my tattoo. It has my handwriting and says Aznangel. It is on the left side of my upper left side of my back. Now, it probably appears as though its fading away, given it's been like more than 10 years.
Pause break. My hot packet came out of my glove. Thank you to Agnes for putting it back for me. Of course I gave her a card so she can be encouraged! Agnes, I pray you will be touched by my writings! Have a wonderful day!
Okay, back to my writing for the day! Anyway, people have mixed emotions about tattoos. Some people like it on them and on other people. Some people do not like it on them or do not like it
on other people.
Frankly, I don't think we should make that a concern of ours. That's the other person not you. No matter how you feel about tattoos.
Please take a look at Isaiah 44 1 - 5
Pause break. Shout out to Adam! Thank you for zipping up my makeup bag! Pray you will be encouraged by the writings. Have a blessed day!
Let me end this writing with a simple deep thought. If you want a tattoo, then get a tattoo. If you don't want a tattoo oh, then you don't get a tattoo.
There should be no confusion on that. I think all that matters really is the writing and the design. Is what you're going to have printed on your body going to be glorifying to God? Is what you choose to embed on your body going to enticce or make people want to ask questions about God?
Is Jesus your Soul Tattoo?
