Power Series Part 25: Power Of Plans

I make sure to jot everything down in my phone. I mean everything. I find it to be a very good thing for three important reasons. First I think it's a good reminder. Second, it saves you from a schedule of madness, and 3rd, it gives me something to look forward to.

Making notes a good reminder. Yeah, if I had photographic memory, I wouldn't need to do that. However I don't. So, what I do is make notes on my phone. My thumb and index finger types away the stuff that God has helped me with that morning, afternoon, or evening. It's good to just think back and Marvel and just give glory to God, remember how he helped me. Sometimes, when I am down in the dumps and not necessarily having good relations with God at that moment, it's good for me to have something to look back on. It is good to be reminded of the goodness of God!

2nd, making a note  abour adult daily  stuff (ADL's) ? I cannot even imagine not being able to put the schedule in my phone or better yet speak the schedule in my phone. Speaking the plans really help! I don't know about you but just the feeling or sound of the plan first thought of in my mind differs from when I say it out loud. Does that make any sense? LOL That makes sense in my head. HA! On a serious note, I would like to just give a humongous thank you to my husband for getting me my cell phone. That of which is the "gold star" in this writing!

The final reason, I think it helps a lot in my life to jot things down in my phone is this. Well, first of all there are probably many more reasons you can think of. My mind just came to a stop after three reasons.
Having something to look forward to! I may not be the only one out there who feels the same way I do. When me or you will make note of something that is coming up in the future, that does something! For example, if it's a doctor's appointment, we may look forward to it in a different way. Say oh, you jot down a vacation that you were planning to take. Oh yeah! Now that is something to really look forward to! Right?

My husband knows that I make note of practically everything. So before he makes plans with something else, he always checks with me if anything else is planned on this day? Trust me guys, making note of future extravaganzas will put you in a better mood. Again, depending on what the activity is. I believe that God totally has plans for our lives. He had our life planned from the time we came out of our mother's womb until the day we take our last breath on this Earth and die.

I totally believe that God has his own timetable for our lives. I don't suggest we mess with that. I'm pretty sure God has everything under control. Even though we may or feel a little bit jumbled up or life is getting hectic. We just need to take a breather and ask God to get all of our burdens and we will be all good. Trust in God's plans for our lives. And just breathe!

Psalm 37:23 ESV

The steps of a man are established by the Lord, when he delights in his way;

Proverbs 3 5 6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make straight your paths.

 Matthew 11:28-30

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me,for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
