Have a wonderful day everybody!
Shout out to new Starbucks worker Lewis. Wow, he's from Spain! Awesome accent! Thank you for trying to help me find my lip liner cover. You're going to kill me! It didn't fall on the floor. It fell on my lap. Isn't that funny? :DThank you though for shedding some light, so you can look better. Glad you liked my pun "let there be light." It was very nice meeting you though!
Thank you to Teanna for bringing our Peach Green Tea for Joe and I. Thank you also to Brenda! Thank you for picking up my hot packet off the floor and putting it in my glove. And thank you to BegoƱa. Thank you for putting my other hot packet back in my glove. Thank you for putting in your name in my phone email! Wow, good thing you knew how to operate my phone and even put the cedilla symbol in the letter of your name. :-) Very cool!
Thank you to Agnes, for picking up my other hot packet that got stuck in the crevice of my wheelchair. I pray for these few people who got my card this morning and I pray that you guys will be encouraged by the writings and have a wonderful day! Let's dive In!
The caregiver I had right before the one I have now was very nice! She had to move to Florida. I know right? Lucky her to get away from the cold weather. :-)
One day when we were at Starbucks she was telling me she has so many clothes that didn't fit her anymore. And she wanted to give them to me. Who am I to pass up free clothes?
One day, we were at her condo,
in her words having a "girl's day " She showed me all the clothes she was thinking of giving me.They were all very cute! Loved the style! So, the final result was I ended up getting new clothes without paying a cent. The best way to do it, mind you :-).
Anyway, one of the articles of clothing amongst the dresses ,blouses, and sweaters was a cardigan. It was just a simple black cardigan. I think Angora.
It was simple, but I loved it! I'm wearing it right now. I wear it all the time. Now, that it's winter time and it gets pretty cold in Starbucks, oh I make sure to be wearing this on those kind of days!
You know why that is? Don't say anyting but I believe that this cardigan has power. Yes it is a secret though. Hush-hush.
Seriously, I kid you not every time I wear this sweater it warms me up! Come to think of it oh, perhaps we should '86' the cardigan having power thing I was talking about earlier. I really don't think there's any mystical power or magic in this black cardigan. Probably the material of the fabric, Angora? Maybe the fact that it's made of Angora has a lot to do with making me feel warm?
Anyway, this makes me think of another article of clothing. My mind suddenly started to think about this the bright purple robe worn by Jesus Christ right before he was going to be crucified on the cross. They made him wear that robe because they were mocking him. So, they put him in a purple robe and made him wear a crown of thorns and he was holding a scepter, kings usually hold. Again it was all about mocking him!
And, what did He do? He extended grace. He
showed grace to every single one of those people that mocked him. I remember reading in the Bible something about one of Jesus's disciples slicing the ear off one of the men trying to capture Jesus. And, you know what Jesus did?Jesus healed the man's ear.

Why would he do that? It's simple. He loves us all!
See what I mean? There's definitely power in that bright purple robe. What Jesus did for you and me? What Jesus did for all humankind is powerful! The bright purple robe, along with the crown of thorns, and the scepter Jesus had with him before he was on the cross, are emblems of that power he showed us.
Those things should remind us of the power Jesus did for us by dying on the cross!
