Play for the Audio Version
A funny thing happened this morning. My One Year Bible devotion subject was, "Your words are powerful." Can you guess what I'm writing about this morning? I'm going to revisit trying to make this writing audible for people.
Isn't the Lord funny? So, today I feel like God wants me to write about the power of the tongue. And, I also feel like God wants me to make use of the tongue by speaking my writing for today!
Let's Dive In!
It's not rocket science to figure out that logical assumption that the tongue has power! That power can be either positive or negative. As said many times before, I'm a married woman. So, let me talk about this in a marriage! To the husbands, utilize your tongue to speak words of love or show actions of love to your wife. Wives you too should utilize the power of your tongue to respectfully communicate with your husband verbally and physically.
I was speaking to a more mature Christian fellow wife. She gave me a big tip in telling me to make sure My husband always feels appreciated In Jesus name. Amen.
Is this the year maybe your husband or you will need to do a little research and find out what is your and
your spouse's love language? I promise you it will work wonders to know your spouses love language and definition of respect. Maybe for this new year, fellow married couples out there you should really think about doing this.
Do you need to keep yourselves mindful of this? Maybe 2019, is the year we should really start to be more aware and Try super hard to remember our words and actions to our spouse? Remember, our tongue can choose to spit out hateful words and disrespectful words or caring words and loving words. Whatever you choose will have consequences. How will you choose to speak to your spouse. Will you choose negative or positive power of your tongue?

Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body.
Ephesians 5:22 ESV
Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord.
Ephesians 5:25 ESV
Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her,
