Power Series Part 49: Power Of Trust

Play for the Audio Version

I know there have been times I've spoken about my adorable yet feisty but very smart cat, Gideon. She can be called Giddy for short. This morning I have a few Deep Thoughts I like to share about this Kitty of mine.

My writing for this morning is based on the power of trust. My husband feeds her early in the morning like 4.  And, then he feeds her again when he comes home from work.

Sorry, it's not like I can get up and walk to the kitchen and feed her when I stay home by myself. She's a cat from the streets! I'm sure she's been through worse things than having an empty stomach for some hours. She's a fighter. Meaning she can fight her hunger That kind of stuff is like nothing to her.

She knows my husband will come back home.  She trusts that when he comes back he's going to give her food. The Trusted feeling is in her gut. It cannot be taught or learned. Kind of reminds me of something.

When it comes to believing in Jesus. Do you have faith and believe what Jesus did for us? If you are still here when he comes back to Earth, can you confidently say that you will be raptured with other born again Christians? Can you say you will not go through the phenomenal world calamities ? Do you think you'll be here when you will need to take the sign of the Beast in order to survive from hunger and other things needed for your livelihood? Are you assured of your salvation?

Just some questions for you to ponder over.

Let me end with this. Remember I said my cat pretty smart. When she sees that me and Joe both leave in the morning, check out what she does. She make sure to leave a little food in her Bowl that was given to her in the early morning. You know she leaves that in case she gets hungry during the day and there's somebody home to feed her. And, then when me and Joe get home around like 4 or a little later, she will go to her bowl and finish all her food. Yeah, instead of greeting us at the door, as soon as she hears the door she goes back to her Bowl so she can finish her food. She knows she will get more.

She leaves food in her Bowl just in case me and Joe don't come home. She knows she will be fine if one of us is home. Isn't that smart of her?

That's it for today. I pray you'll be encouraged by the writings and I pray you have a wonderful day!

This reading was right to you by the Deep that's from Samantha blog by me Samantha! Have a great day!
