How do you like my title? Yeah, I also had some question marks circling around in my head. But, it's all good. The Lord put some deep thoughts in my mind. Time to share!
You guys probably know from other writings or if you watch my cooking show, " Mr And Mrs. Food with a Twist, you know this. Or, maybe you don't? Perhaps you just forgot. Anyway, it's okay I'll tell you again.
And, that is I love to use a blow dryer. The blow dryer gives me relief, temporary relief. I'm not speaking about blow drying my hair on my head. No. I like to blow dry parts of my body that needs heat. Mostly my feet. It makes sense I don't walk so I don't really move my feet. Therefore, the muscles are not doing its job. And, the outer part of your body, which is the skin becomes cold. For me mostly my legs and feet and sometimes hands.
Nobody told me that I should blow dry my muscles when they're cold. Maybe, you can count God speaking to my heart and telling me to try to blow dry. I've been doing this for years. In fact, I'm actually doing this as I speak my writing on my phone. LOL
Most of my caregivers, except for a few made me feel comfortable in asking them to blow dry my feet. I remember one time I had a caregiver who told me this. " Don't tell my husband that I blow your feet. Because when he asks me to massage his feet I don't want to touch them. She said her husband's feet were so crusty and ashy. They were so gross! "She didn't mind my feet at all. She said at least they are clean.
This whole feet thing reminds me of Jesus. Let me tell you why. Because of two instances, we read in the Bible. First, the one when the lady Martha I believe, put perfume on Jesus' feet and wiped them with her hair. And, the other feet story had to do with Jesus washing the feet of all the disciples.
I guess my weird mind is making me think that it's a good thing to have nice looking feet. More importantly, clean-looking feet. Now we wouldn't want to scare people away with that atrocious smell.
All of the caregivers I've had never said no I will not blow dry your feet. All of them did. They did, however, say something to the effect of this. I don't like feet. See, before all of them did it, I would kindly ask them first. I know they probably would because that's their job. But, I asked them first if they wouldn't mind blow drying my feet.
I'm thinking that clean, nice looking, feet that smell nice is a very good thing. It's kind of a way to have people invite you in to have a conversation with them. Do you get what I'm saying? If you have ugly feet or ugly whatever and a bad smell going along with it, you're not going to be welcomed to speak with other people.
So, I'm thinking that having a nice-looking anything is a good thing. Most other people would want to speak with you. And, if you're a child of God, if the person who is speaking to doesn't know the (good news) you can speak to them about Jesus!

Psalm 1:1-6 ESV
Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers, but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers. The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that the wind drives away. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous; ...
