Power Series Part 55: Power of People Pleasers. Those types of people are so difficult! At times it can be very annoying. It's hard to be around those types of people sometime. Wait I'm thinking I find my own self to be a people pleaser a little bit sometimes. So, does this mean I am dissing myself? I think I am good lol. Oh well! I've heard somewhere that we shouldn't really worry about pleasing people as much as focusing on pleasing God!

I have seen it from other people. I've seen and felt in myself. We choose to go the direction of doing an action or saying something that would not be pleasing to God. However, that action may please other people. We seriously have to be mindful and watch ourselves before we do stuff we know will be pleasing to other people but not God. Seriously, we need to ask ourselves will the action we're about to do, be pleasing to God?

Folks, if the action in trying to please people ends up in a a failed attempt, there is a humongous chance we will get mad. And that Madness may piggy back on to other people who we are with. And, we don't want that right? Believe me we don't want that.

Do I think it's bad to be a people pleaser? No. Well, maybe sometimes. To reiterate, be very mindful, watch yourself, and ask yourself is this action that I'm about to do going to please God or is it just going to please a certain person or people but not God?

Fellow Believers, I think we should know what actions would be pleasing to God or not pleasing to God, right? If we don't, then I think we should start opening up the scripture and start finding out. Don't you think?

Is it wrong to be people pleasers?

Galatians 1:10

For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.
