I had to come back to the blog and say hello to Brendan thank you for getting my hot pack. Shout out to Francie thank you for picking up my eyeliner cover. Shout out to Charles and Dave! Two very nice gentlemen that walked in Starbucks just at the right time when I dropped my lipstick and cover on the floor when I was touching up my lips around lunch time. I pray that all you people who received my car today will be encouraged by the writings! Have a wonderful day!
The thought of our God having a miraculous vision from way back in the past to the present and all the way up to the future is just so amazing to me! And, it's so comforting knowing that he's watching over us, even though we may be feeling so icky, yucky, bad... He can see that in time as time goes by we'll be free from pain! Physically or mentally. In this life? I don't know. I know in God's word it says goodbye pain! So, he means definitely in the next life!
I think of when I was in my late teenage years. Like, probably entering college. I was already a believer. However, sorry to say I was somewhat in my "backsliding years." Those fellow Christians that have gone from being on fire for Christ to lukewarm and eventually cold know exactly what I'm talking about.
So, I was a teenager that put the Lord off to the side so I could enjoy the rest of my crew in their worldly activities. One of those activities was dating or being in a relationship. And, I don't recall ever being in a good relationship.
What comes to mind is in the past guys were jerks. I remember feeling like I would never find love. Maybe there are some people out there right now who feel like that? Ladies and gentlemen out there, don't get too down. Be encouraged! God can help you!
My story ended very happily. The summer of 1999 came and I met my then boyfriend of 9 years and now husband of 10 years Joseph Verdaguer.
Do you see what I am trying to say, folks? No, I'm not saying that you are definitely getting that dream man or woman in your life. There's no way for me to know if that's going to happen. You can keep praying that that's gonna happen, but there's no guarantee. That does promise that he will be enough for your life. More than enough!
Be encouraged. God has been watching over you. He's watching over you right now. He will always be watching over you and me. God sees when we are hurt and he hurts with us.
I don't know where you guys are when it comes to having a relationship with God. But what I can do is share with you guys how having a relationship with God is for me. And, I'll tell you it's all powerful, indescribable... I mean he placed the stars in the sky and he calls them by name! He is an amazing God!
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope
Psalm 147:4
He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name.
Revelation 21:4
‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
