The title of today's writing is actually what my Bachelors degree is in. Yep I graduated from UIC with a BA in Communication. Definitely was not into numbers. So, being a math major was out the window. I also was actually probably one of the ones who fell asleep during filmstrips about science stuff or history stuff. So, I think getting a well-rounded education
in the liberal arts section ( in particular communication) was the way to go for me.
Learning better grammar, paragraph spacings, punctuation skills, and stuff like that really helped me out
for future life projects. Doing various activities in and out of school was a way for me to practice my creativity and my writing skills. If you look at me now, what am I doing? Answer is I am utilizing stuff i learned more in my past, right now in my dtfs blog!
Now what comes to mind is this. Communication with God. In my before born again Christian years, I can't recall talking to God or communicating with God a lot. Well, definitely not as much as I do now.
In my before born again Christian years, I thought only good people or liturgical people spoke with God. I didn't think I felt worthy or good enough to carry that role. Like why would God listen to what I have to say? I wasn't as good enough as a priest!
Wait a minute, just jotting that down right now as I talk makes me really not believe what I just said. Makes me feel like that kind of talk is from the evil one
God would never say anything like that. His word says that 1all have sinned! So to put myself in the category of best to worst kind of sinner, is definitely not good and definitely not something I'm supposed to do! God would speak to anyone of us and he especially wants to hear from all of us.
When we all have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, communication is pivotal. It is the Supreme key to having a good relationship with God
Folks if you just didn't know or if you just never really thought about it, think about it now. That is if you're not already thinking about it. God wants to hear your lovely voice. And if you cannot talk, then be assured he wants to feel your presence in however you communicate with him. And he wants you to feel his presence in everything you do!
Romans 10:17
So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.
John 16:13
When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.
Romans 3:23
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life
