Late

Play for the Audio Version

Had to come back to the blog and give a couple shout outs to two really nice ladies! Thank you for coming to my home so I can finally get physical therapy started soon! Shout out to Johanna and Amanda! I pray you two lovely ladies will be encouraged by my writings. Have a great day!

I don't think anyone really likes
to be late. Late to work. Late to school. Late to a  performance. Late to a filming. Late to an audition. I do know that if you are late for an audition, then don't even bother going anymore. No doubt there's more things. That's all I can think about right now. :-)

The same thing goes for anything you can be late for. That is, it just sucks. Well, not only that but, maybe there are times you really had no control. You guys could ponder over some examples of what I'm saying about you not having any control.

Now, what if you did have control? If that is the case, then that was your bad. Then you guys had to be smart about it and figure out what to do or what not to do so you won't be late for your important appointment.

Let's go back to not having any control about being late. If that is the case, then that is not your fault. Stop beating yourself up about being late.

No, I don't have a magic potion for you guys so you will never be late again. Nope, that is not possible. All I can say is well besides don't stress out about it. Let me also say this. Maybe God allowed you to be late because he was saving you from entering into something that was going to turn out pretty bad for you. Maybe not then right away, but God knew it was going to be bad in the future.

I remember one time I was so upset and mad. I just did not understand why I was late
for this one thing. I can't really remember too much anymore. I know that it wasn't something I could control. Anyway, it turned out it was a good thing I was late. Folks, we should be thankful that God will allow something sometimes really bad to happen in order to really save us from getting into something even worse.

Let me end with this little thing that I heard when I was listening to Moody Radio yesterday. We were
in the car yesterday on our way to church listening to the pastor and his sermon for Moody Radio. He shared that he did not like to be late going places. He didn't want to have the nickname or be known as the late Pastor Litzer. Because I guess it could mean otheqr things. And, really he was still alive LOL. That was funny.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
