Play for the Audio Version

Yes Hi again! I am back! I had to come back to give a shout out to Heaven! Thank you girl for stopping training for a little bit and accepting my card! I pray you will be encouraged by the writings! Have a great day! And, your name is awesome! :-)

Hi again! I had to come back and say thank you to Devitt! This very nice man got me a straw! I pray you will be encouraged by the writings! Enjoy your taco Tuesday!

Over the weekend if you went to New Hope church last Sunday morning, you were beyond encouraged and very blessed from hearing the sermon from Pastor Bryan! The assistant pastor of NHC! His message was about from fear to courage.

It made me think about my husband just recently. Let me elaborate. See, the fashion lately has been stripes, plaid or prints or bright clothing. My husband is not like most husbands when it comes to having fashion sense. Joe always has a good fashion style. Which is good for me, especially when my crazy eyes decide to play tricks on me and choose to play color blindness for the hour or something else which leave my eyes unable to see correctly.

Or, maybe there would be times I'm just too weak to think about the clothing I would want to wear for the day. Good thing for Joe's fashion sense sometimes. Look at that be encouraged, folks! Be encouraged that you can easily pick out your clothes without risk of something crazy going on with your eyes or just a really bad case of fatigue. Oh, the little things in life that make me so happy! When I'm able to do it

I do you get happy. I love when I feel well enough physically and mentally to just pick what I want to wear by myself!  Don't get me wrong.  Thank God for giving me the strength to do it a few times a week.

Anyway. See, one big thing I have which is part of my MS is "nystagmus." Go ahead and google that for more clarification. However, be mindful that may not necessarily be my case of nystagmus. It's different with everyone.

Yup, so that is how that goes. I sometimes look like I am winking when I have one eye closed or squinting. That's when I make sure to mention to people not to be alarmed bc I am not winking or flirting with them. Just trying to focus. :) See, seeing people wearing plaid, stripes or prints really bothers my eyes. Just imagine the craziness bc my eyes just would keep jumping around cuz they would not know which way to look.

I could wear stripes or prints if I wanted because I don't usually look at my own clothing. But, it's okay. I still don't wear that stuff because I just don't want to risk seeing it and feeling dizzy. What do I do if I'm with people wearing this kind of clothing? Of course I tell them to change! LOL, I'm just kidding. Answer is I'm not going to say anything negative. Well, it would depend on where exactly we would be, and who the people are. But, other than that I would just lovingly try not to look.

Oh yeah, why does this make me think of my husband? Well, my husband really knows and likes to follow fashion trends. But, even though plaid, stripes and prints are what's in. Joe chose to sacrifice being part of the fashion trend bc he knows what it does to my eyes. How much more should we choose or not choose things if we do not think God would like it? In my case, Joe was sacrificing not wearing stuff bc he knew the muscles in my eyes wouldnt like it. I repeat how much more should we sacrifice things for the favor of Jesus and him liking things!

Ephesians 2:8-9

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works so that no one can boast.

John 3:16

For God's so loved the world that he gave his one and only son th1at whosoever believes in him will not perish but have everlasting life.
