Back Where I Belong

Play for the Audio Version
Okay, are you guys ready?Remember I said I was going to write about what happened to me yesterday when I was having breakfast with Joe. Okay, what happened was this. I was taking my medicine. And, I was eating a bowl of cereal. It was Frosted Flakes and bananas. Yum! Just a little side note if you guys have not tried that yet, Actually I'm sure there's some of you that have. But, for those of you who have not tried it, I suggest you try it! Anyway, sorry I got sidetracked.

As I was saying, I was taking medicine. The first of my sequence of medications is to drink fish oil vitamins. When I was about to put the medicine in my mouth, no surprise my fingers got all wobbly and I lost all control of it. No, I did not drop it on the table. No, I did not drop it on the floor. Guess where I dropped it? I dropped it in my cereal!

Joe was trying to be funny and he said not in so many words, that my fish oil was wanting to return to its normal habitat. LOL
Immediately, I thought aren't we all like that? I'm going to venture a guess and say the majority of all people prefer to being in a place where they feel much more comfortable. We prefer to be in places that are well-known to us. We would much rather be in places where we are familiar with  the environment and things surrounding.

This Earth belongs to the prince of this world. That's the evil one. So, yes we will experience Comfort sometimes. But not all the time.

All the time comfort will be given by God if you accept him as a personal Lord and savior.

Psalm 23:4

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

Matthew11:1

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
