Always Pray and Never Give Up!

Play for the Audio Version

How true is my title? Right I know kind of cliche. However a very genuine and to the point cliche.

I remember way back years ago when I was 15 years old. I just became a born-again Christian. I
Was regularly attending Ashburn Baptist Church. That was my first church when I first became a born again Christian. Because of my age, I was in the high school Fellowship. It was a new church, with new people and this was going on.

There was going to be a ski trip. All of my new friends were going oh, and of course I was invited to
go as well. I knew that if I would ask my parents if I could go, they weren't going to let me go. Or would they?

I remember I haven't even been going to this new church for even a month. My parents didn't really know any of my new friends.
Nor, do they know or meet any of the adults that were chaperoning this event.

It made sense yeah. Think about it if you are a parent and you have a child that would like to go to an event with people you don't really know, at a church group that has a different denomination our religion as yours, what would you do?

Well, what I did was this. And probably daily
prayed that my
Parents would let me go. I had friends pray for me that I would be able to go. I journaled and would ask God over and over to please let me go on the ski trip.

The end result, the final outcome was this. I was able to go on the ski trip! Didn't really go past the Bunny
Hill though.

Why did I go on this weekend? Of course I'll go ahead let me see allowed me to  go. I have no idea why. I could probably make some guesses now, but I was very thankful to have the time I was able to go..

Over there are many stories I can share that have to do with answered prayers the way I wanted them to be answered. On the flip side I can also share many stories of answered prayers with them not being answered the way I wanted.

My dear friend, no matter what we just have to always pray and not give up you never know if the Lord's answer will be the same as your own personal answer. I tell you oh how wonderful those times are!

Will you play with me? Thank you for always answering prayer. Help us God to always be okay
With whatever the prayer will be. The final result is what you think is the best for us. Maybe, we won't see it now. But help us to remember that you know. Maybe
something not God will happen in The future. And, maybe the answer we wanted will take a turn for the worse. Thank you Lord that you know exactly what is in our future and you care so much
about your children. That's why you answer the prayer the way you wanted it to be answered

We love you Lord. And we praise you in Jesus name amen

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord , “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Romans 8:28

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
