Any fellow married couples in the web audience this morning? Actually let me rephrase that question. I will say are there any married couples in the web audience this morning who is in a marriage that is making a turn for the worse? And divorce is in your near future?

Is your marriage broken? Let me encourage you and first say your marriage does not have to die! Failing marriages can just be your wake up call. Yeah, that makes sense I think. It's like a warning waybe? No, I will stick with wake up call. It's a wake-up call for you to start working on restoring your marriage. Fix those things in your marriage that are making it fail.

Married couples, I repeat and say loud and proud, "Your marriage does not have to die!" The way your marriage is going is up to how you do things in the marriage. Right? Ask yourself how and what are you allowing or not allowing in your marriage?

Communicate with one another! Ask one another what they think would better your marriage. I don't know. Maybe you need to talk about how things are sexually going in your marriage? Maybe you guys are having a poor level of the way communication is going between the two of you.

I know I've spoken about this before. But, because I'm speaking about it again just shows how crucial and imperative it is. I'm talking about love languages.

Please if you haven't yet figured out what your spouse's love language is you can get them in Google. Make it a priority to look at that. Maybe make it a date night and look at it together at that time?

Go ahead and ask yourself, do you have the Lord in the center of your marriage? He needs to be number one folks. Yes, God is even ahead of your spouse. Fellow married couples, is that how you view God in your marriage? If not, then I actually can say that your marriage can be heading south and just might possibly die.

My husband and I understand that God is ahead of each other. That's why we tell each other you will always be my number 2! Where does God fall in your marriage?

Ephesians 5:22-24

Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit in everything to their husbands

Isaiah 54:5

For your Maker is your husband, the Lord of hosts is his name; and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer, the God of the whole earth he is called. 

Matthew 6:33 

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you
