Good morning everyone! Happy Monday! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Perhaps. you guys read or listen to my blogs during the work week. If that's the case then welcome back.
Most times, I like to blow dry my feet or maybe the inside of my Ugg boots before I leave to go out the door. Thanks babe! :-)
If you are one that follows this daily, to you guys
I also say welcome back!
So, if you readers have been following my blog since forever, then you know how I feel about blow dryers. You guys ever heard about my love for blow dryers?
I am not talking about blow drying the hair on my head when it's wet. Oh no. Well, I mean I do blow dry my wet hair sometimes. I mean I do blow dry my wet hair sometimes. However, I am not talking about that for this writing.
What then is Sam talking about? Is that what some of you guys are thinking? I actually blow dry my hands and my feet. Or, my
My caregiver Glady or Joe would do it as well. Sometimes my arms. And, my legs. Oh wow, I blow dry my entire body. Just depends on the day I think.

I know. Pat on the back for me for thinking of doing this. Doing this is a release from having cold body parts.
Uh, yeah right I don't take credit for any of this. I believe this clever idea was put in my mind by the Holy Spirit. God could totally see that I was not getting enough relief from just having Central heat, or using heating pads. He can see that I was really hot and almost sweating in my upper body but freezing in the hands and feet.
Because of the MS, God knows my muscles are all confused and messed up. So, that's why the blow drying. I can put it up close to my muscles turn it on and off whenever I feel like it's getting too hot.
I remember doing an experiment with one of my caregivers. She would keep the blow dryer blowing hot air on her hand. She would remove it or turn it off when she was getting too hot. I would do the same thing. However when I would do it I added about 5-10 more seconds then when she had to remove it from her hands.I guess that explains my blow dryer Fiasco at times LOL
Seriously, and thank God because every time my blow dryer goes out or something, it always seems to be away from me. So, I'm not going to an emergency trip to the hospital. I would just need to buy another blow dryer. The last time I was in my bedroom on my bed blow drying my feet when suddenly it began to spark. I screamed and ended up throwing the blow dryer on the floor. Joe was napping but he heard me scream and then he turned it off and unplugged it and the small almost fire just stopped as soon as Joe stopped and unplugged it.
Poor Joe had to buy me a new blow dryer. It seems like Joe buys a new blow-dryer every 6 months or so. We have a blow dryer in my living room, bedroom, and by my shoes.
Most times, I like to blow dry my feet or maybe the inside of my Ugg boots before I leave to go out the door. Thanks babe! :-)
Why am I sharing this with you guys? Wow, because I totally see it as the two bitter things as having a horrible disease and me having a cold body. Then praise God I see the sweet thing which is the blow dryer. That does temporarily bring me relief!
This makes me think of Jesus. Such a bitter thing that he had to suffer and die and get spit on, wear a crown of thorns and all that bad stuff when he was in Calvary. But the good thing from all he did was that we have salvation. He did all those bad things so that we
wouldn't have to. He took all of our burdens and sins with him on the cross!
If we believe in Jesus, then we are saved by his grace and will spend eternity with Jesus in heaven forever! Forever is a long time. Don't you want to be assured of where your forever will be spent?
John 3:16
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
John 17:3
And this is eternal life, that they know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.
Matthew 25:46
And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
Romans 10:13
For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
John 5:24
Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.
