Before I left for vacation, my caregiver, Glady shared a story with me that totally converted her idea of contact lenses. What has happened to her was, I guess, life-changing. Listen to this.
Glady had mentioned that one time she had put her contact in her eye, but her contact ended up almost going in the back of her.
She called on her husband to help her position it back and thankfully was able to take it out. However, poor , Glady, was in such pain. She ended up tearing her cornea and needed to get medical help from her eye after immediately.
To this day, my poor caregiver was so traumatized by this incident, she vowed to never wear contacts again! Something, like what happened to Glady actually happened to me as well one time.
However it wasn't to the point of my cornea getting scratched.
Thankfully similar to Glady my husband helped me push the contact to the front so we could take it out. My eye was red for a little bit, but thankfully it started to feel better. I put my contact back in my eye and called it a day. The severe frightening
traumatic ending of what happened to Glady could have definitely happened to me as well. Knowing how stubborn
I am, I probably would have continued wearing contacts, as if nothing of the like even happened. I guess Glady was just not meant to wear contacts. At least not for long periods of time come maybe? And, she seems totally cool that. I got it. She just does not want her cornea eye to get scratched again or anything worse.
For me, I don't really like wearing glasses for long periods of time.
I feel that most time it clouds my vision. Remember I have nystagmus? My eyes
are just kept from correctly focusing on the item at hand. That has to do with messing with my peripheral vision. Again, not my fault. I mean the whole messing with my eyes Not my fault. Blame definitely goes to the MS. I just thank God for providing contacts for my eyes to really help deal with times when my vision gets really distorted.

So those are some life contacts stories. I probably have more if I really think about it.
What comes to mind now is the story of King David. His story is more intense than mine or Glady's contacts stories combined. King David was meant to start working on building a Temple for God, because God wanted him to.
That was something Adam was meant to do. However, because of the sin of adultery, that came. The result was David wasn't able to finish building the Temple.
Another quick thing to mention that pretty much is all about thinking it was meant to be but according to God it wasn't is this. Our friends Adam and Eve. They were meant to be in the Garden of Eden for eternity. A place of Paradise. Then, sadly to say the birth of sin came to life. The ending results, paradise on Earth was not meant to be...
