Better Or Not Better

Play for the Audio Version

I personally have rather pretty darn awesome relationships with my doctors. Meaning, I usually email them and I can, or some of them I call and text. And, they don't get angry at me for it. :-)
I remember some years ago. I was awake at my normal time 4 something in the morning. I was getting ready for the day. I actually was still walking at the time. But, when I was on my way back to the bedroom I accidentally lost my balance and I guess luckily my face didn't hit the wall. But, my teeth did.

I ended up badly chipping my teeth. That was a first. Of course, I had to wake up Joe. Immediately, yes I mean immediately at 4 in the morning I texted my dentist. I said, " oh my gosh, I had just knocked some parts of my teeth out. What do I do? Can I come in this morning?" My dentist texted me back immediately he will fix me. To come later on that day.

Oh, let me mention around the same time I think my multiple sclerosis was starting to go bad because the same thing happened. The difference is I was at Starbucks. I was throwing something in the garbage and I lost my balance and hit the garbage. I did the same thing by partially knocking my teeth out.

Both times my dentist did this seriously miraculous thing where he was able to make my teeth look like I never damaged them!

It was actually funny because I texted him yesterday and asked if my caregiver that just moved from Florida can come to see you because her teeth are hurting really bad. So, since he is Dr. Gambla of Gambla dental, he texted me back to

call and speak to the front ladies and tell them I spoke to me, and he will make it happen! Glady has an appointment later on today! I thanked him and said isn't he glad that I did not text him at 4 a.m? He responded absolutely! Then, he responded with a thumbs up and :-) emoji.

My eye doctor or ophthalmologist and I have a pretty good relationship too. Now, my husband is also seeing him. It's cool, I just send him a text if we are unable to make it or something or other.

What me and my husband always joke about a little is this. When Dr. Helsel is giving his eye exam on us. He shows two different pictures. And, he always says, " is it better over here or better in the other one?" Or sometimes, "This one? Or that one?" What's funny is that there is no volume shift in his voice. He speaks so serenely and calm. When the voice is like that anyone can be put to sleep. Oh wow, I'm yawning now. Lol

That made me think of this. Do you guys think it is better to accept Christ earlier on in life or later? Another good question guys! Now, let me offer some of my deep thoughts.

First of all, I do personally know of people in their young age who have accepted Christ. I also know people in older ages who accepted Christ. I know people who have accepted Christ on their deathbed or, have not accepted Christ on their deathbed.

Accepting Christ is what really matters. Whether it be at a young age or an old age.

I am thinking it would definitely be more beneficial to accept Christ at a young age. However, definitely not necessary. It says in the Bible that "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son that whosoever believes in him will not perish but have everlasting life!" That is the plain truth! There are no add-ons like whoever believes in him before the age of 33 will have eternal life. No mention of whoever believes in him before a certain age will have eternal life? That's silly. That's just silly talk! Moral of the story is just choose Christ whether you are young, old, living a good life, poor, wealthy, on your deathbed, etcetera.

I repeat there is no time frame. If your heart is telling you to just do it. Then just like the Nike saying just Do It!

Romans 10:9

Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

John 3:16

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

Matthew 7:12

“So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.

Matthew 6:14-15

For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses

Philippians 4:19

And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Matthew 6: 31-32

Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.
