I am back guys! I have to give a shout out to Yinka!
Glady and I were chilling outside my condo and we saw this nice gentleman

Thank you Yinka for accepting my card and I pray you will be encouraged by the writings! Have a great rest of the day!

Shout out to our maintenance guy Lance! Lance, thanks for accepting my card!
Okay I hope you will be encouraged by the writings and I hope you will be encouraged by the writings and have a wonderful rest of the day!

Did that do something? I mean looking at my title of the reading for today. Did that give you some sort of comfort?

Believe me, friends, I know what you're going through because there are times I feel it too. The devil tries so hard and in a variety of ways to steal our joy! Doesn't he?

Sometimes, don't you wish he would just leave you alone? Yes me too! However, unfortunately, he just keeps on trying until he gets what he wants.

Let me explain a little bit more of what I mean. How does the devil steal your joy? How is the devil trying to steal Sam's joy? Like I said before in the upper previous paragraph, oh yes the devil tries to steal it. And I think a somewhat humongous way of doing that is when we, the children of God or not, are feeling really satisfied, content, just super happy because we know the man upstairs just helped us out with something.

So, we are giving God all of our praise. And, somebody doesn't like that.  Nope, Satan and his demons do not like this one bit.

Friends, we really need to stop worrying. Well, that is if you are doing that. We need to stop trying to fight battles that don't even belong to us. Well, that if again if you are trying to do that.

What is coming to mind now is the Bible story of Jesus and his disciples. They were on a boat and suddenly they see someone walking on water. That someone is Jesus. Jesus tells Peter to give him his hand. Peter was going to walk on water with Jesus. He just needed faith. When Peter gave Jesus his hand he was standing on the water, then after a few seconds Peter was starting to lose faith and then he was starting to sink.

Beware folks! Keep it in your mind! Remember anything that is of god, the devil does not like. He just keeps trying to steal our joy. Maybe we should clothe ourselves with the armor of God and not let him!

John 10:10

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I have come so they can have life. I want them to have it in the fullest possible way.

Matthew 14:22 - 33

More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

1 Peter 1:8

Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
