First of all, I would just like to give a pat on people's backs right now! A humongous thank you! You guys don't know how appreciated and encouraged I feel! It's only 5 something in the morning, and the views I have for my blog today is already 145! I want to thank you very much!)
On to the writing for the day. I wanted to address the topic of hard conversations. Do you all know what I'm talking about? I think. Well, if not, I will elaborate...
Calling a restaurant and ordering food!
Joe absolutely hates doing that. That is why GrubHub is his best friend. He does not like speaking to people He says it just complicates your orders. I would use that example as a "hard conversation."

I, on the other hand, don't mind at all. I welcome calling and ordering food. Sometimes they have certain foods that are not on the menu on GrubHub.
Just the other day, I was ordering Chinese food and Joe said that there are no desserts on the GrubHub menu. So, since I didn't call I wasn't able to get a dessert.
I remember a few months ago I really wanted a repeat of this delicious pasta! Joe was ordering it GrubHub. But, he said they're not selling it anymore. I said I don't believe it. That is their best meal. So, you know what I did? I called the restaurant about the dish, described it in full detail, even its taste, and the woman I spoke to said, of course, we sell that. "But it's not on GrubHub!," I said." She said nonchalantly to me, "oh yeah we took it off GrubHub, but we still sell it." I was too hungry to ask why it wasn't on GrubHub. That was that.
Another example I can think of is this. preparing myself to speak with this one person about something that was really bothering me. And, she knows she was totally in the wrong. However, I never even had to speak to her. The Lord knew I was gonna be so mad. He prevented me from ever seeing her again so, that's a praise God!
Speaking of which, The final example of a hard conversation is this. When fellow Christians speak to others, the unbelievers, about God, their faith or , Jesus. I'll tell you the end result can either end up hot, meaning they accepted Jesus or cold meaning that they turned him down. Can't be lukewarm!
Let me end the reading today by saying this. Fellow Christians, be proud of yourself because you shared the gospel with someone. Know that Jesus is smiling down at you right now because you shared his gift with someone. You just did all you can do. The rest is up to God and the other person's heart. Don't worry so much. And, don't let it be a hard conversation!
Matthew 28 16 - 20
All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end.
Peter 1:15
But as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct,
Ephesians 4:29
Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.
Colossians 4:6
Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.
Romans 16:17
I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them
