Did I ever mention that my husband and I have been married since 2008 and have been dating since 1999? I'm pretty sure I did, in some writing.
I know all right. That is a long time! Over these past years, I know that Joe really learned new things about me day by day. Things I never really noticed or paid attention to myself!
For example, he knows, I like to squeeze my nose when I hear something sweet or nice being said about me. He knows if I like food that I'm eating. He knows that by way of me doing a happy dance. Seriously, I don't even know I'm doing things sometimes. He would just say, "Oh you must like the food,⅛ there's the happy dance!"
He knows my good habits. He knows my bad ones to. He knows what makes me happy. He knows what does not. He knows the simple things like what kind of movies I like. He knows the deep things.
Yup, I would say that Joe pretty much knows things about me, more than anyone else in this world. As far as someone who knows me and Joe more than ourselves o more than each other? I would say the Lord Jesus Christ carries that title!
Jesus knows each and everyone of us completely, intimately, and perfectly! And, he accepts us and wants us to come to him just as we are! The question is This. If we have not yet asked the Lord to come live in our lives, what are you waiting for?
1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has seized you except what is common to man God is faithful he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear but when you are tempted he will provide a way for you to stand up under it
Jeremiah 1:5
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.”
John 10:14-15
I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep.
John 10:3
To him the gatekeeper opens. The sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.
Psalm 139:10-14
To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. O Lord, you have searched me and known me! You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether. You hem me in, behind and before, and lay your hand upon me....
