WORDS Can Hurt

Play for the Audio Version

Now, ain't that the truth? And, that's to put it bluntly! Think about it. Right? Something so small, well perhaps I wouldn't utilize the word small if the impact of the mean wordsnd up leaving a big hurtful like scar on the person receiving
the rasping, the  jarring, the mean
words.

I'm not going to call anyone out.
Many people, will probably agree with me. Words have power and they can hurt our feelings. There may be time, the harsh words can come from strangers, mere acquaintances, or even your very close loved ones.
People you would never expect to say those kind of words to you may just surprise you.

What comes to mind is the Bible story with Elkanah, Hannah, and Penniah. Elkanah was married to his second wife Hannah. Hannah was trying to have children fan but, the Lord closed her room and she wasn't able to have children. Peninnah's heart was dead set on having kids.

When Elkanah
was with his first wife, Hannah  able to bear his children. He still loved her. But, it was what it was.

I guess back then in those times, it was all about that. Women's worth was was all about having children.

The second wife, and Peninna was blessed by being able to have children. What she did to Hannah was just downright mean!
She would make Hannah's not being able to bear children worse. She continually provoking her.
Because she could not have children.

Hannah was so negatively affected by all this meanness.
She we just continue to be sad and wept. It even came to the point where she could not even eat. Yep, that was her sad story. :-(

Folks. You guys ever felt that way? Well maybe minus the nine eating part. Or maybe you didn't it. Apparently it happened with Hannah.

My final Deep Thoughts is this. There is certainly some type of power in "words."
Folks, we really need to make sure that the words we utilize
on other people are not Negative, mean, or anything of the like.

Do you agree with me? Is what I'm saying making sense? Oh, I have an idea for fellow Christians out there. The gospel story of Jesus Christ would definitely be
a way to share  some inspiring, encouraging, and thoughtful words to a friend.

For you non-believers . Ask them to share with you the story of Jesus. To this. Find a friend or maybe not friend
Basically, someone who knows Jesus. Listen to them speak. Let their words encourage, inspire, and make you smile.
Perhaps the end result, will make the angels in heaven rejoicing!
