Shout out to Jessica, Mariya, Mia, Dig a, Digna, Henry, Joseph, Christian, Tito, and Karina. Thank you everyone for accepting my card from Glady when she was in Florida last week visiting the bar where the shooting was last year. I pray you all will be encouraged by the writings! Have a nice day!
I enjoy going out to eat at different restaurants. Maybe with my husband, parents, in laws, friends, Etc. Can I pick one favorite restaurant? No not really I can think of one right now. I'm not very picky when it comes to food. Just don't give me bitter melon, peas, lima beans, or olive. Just don't like the taste and or texture. But, other than those things I'll eat anything!
Maybe, you guys are like me when it comes to this. Well, as soon as you get to the restaurant the Busboys or waiters put a cup of water on the table and probably a bowl/basket on your table filled with sliced up bread. We didn't even order it. It was free and it's complimentary. I think the fact that we don't have to pay for it places a sense of more enjoyment I'll be eating our priceless delicacy. :-)
So, now I want to do. Well, of course, we're going to start. I tried to limit myself to not that much. Unless I can't help myself because it will be in the bread they give at Red Lobster!
Anyway. What's the reason we want to go to a restaurant? Well duh, we're hungry! So then we order our food, and the bread is still on the table. And our stomachs are still growling! By the time the meal we ordered arrives at our table, we find ourselves filled up from eating too much bread. The one or two pieces grew to eating three or four pieces...
Looks like we're going to be asking for a doggy bag pretty early on in the meal. What's coming to mind now is my spiritual hunger. I would say there is a portion of my day where I seek fellowship with God, read his devotionals or the Bible. This right here constitutes time with God and encouraging other people in addition.
Then there are other times during the day and do other things. Those things take the majority of my time. Those things will make my spiritual hunger diminish.
Please think about it. It makes total sense! Let's say crazy and ball drinking. Drinking is not a sin. However, drinking too much well cause easy to get drunk and maybe need you to do other things that will cause you to sin.
If your mind is all wrapped up in that, there goes our spiritual hunger. Folks, do you need to spend more time with God in order to satisfy your spiritual hunger? I think I do.
