No, I'm not saying I was ever in a situation where I was a slave. Nor, do I think I ever put someone in the position of being a Slave. In the past, I'm pretty sure I was a slave though. I definitely was a slave to sin!
Boy, am I very thankful that in June of 1995 I was made a Slave to righteousness. I say that because that is when I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and savior. And, he wiped any dirt off my slate and cleanses me white as snow.
There's still that thing called temptation that is around all of us. And, when we fall into it that is what makes this slate dirty. However, with Jesus even if we make this slate dirty he still wipes us clean if we would just ask him to live in our hearts. It is imperative that we decide to follow Jesus!
