Everyone needs encouragement! Do you guys agree with that? I certainly do. Hence, I began writing with the sentence!
I was reading an interesting article this morning from my daily bread devotional. It was regarding the late President Abraham Lincoln. On the day of his cdeath in 1865 at Ford's Theater, what the President Lincoln had in his pocket was said to be this. " 2 spectacles, a lens polisher, a pocket knife, a watch fob, a handkerchief, a leather wallet containing a 5 dollar Confederate billand newspaper clippings, including sever that praised him and his policies."
That was pretty interesting. I never really thought about what president Abe Lincoln had in his pockets when he died. It appears that keeping encouraging newspaper clippings was what he found appealing.
Encouraging words was really what seemed 3to have sparked
the interest of the late president. Even the president needed encouragement!
To reiterate, we all need encouragement. I could use some encouraging words right now.
Don't you guys just feel so much better when someone says a nice word to you, offers a kind gesture, a helping hand, or maybe just a smile. Some days we just need to be offered an encouraging and very positive Deep Thought. Let's give someone something positive to get their minds wrapped up to think about. Change from being negative. Amen? Ame
Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.
