Follow Them!

Play for the Audio Version

I remember and I will never forget words from Carey Lewis that she shared with me more than 10 years ago. Carey is the founder of actors models and talent for Christ. So sad it's no longer in business. However very blessed to have been a part of I gained a lifelong friend!

Oh yeah, what was it that she said? She was saying to follow directions! When one goes on auditions, we need to listen to the casting directors words. Don't volunteer information that I don't think. Do I do that?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure unless well in my defense I'll say this. There may be crazy things going on in my brain cuz of the you know what. I give you a clue letters M&S. Oh oh, I think I just said it. LOL anyway.

Anyway because of at times "mental impairment," I needed to dig a little deeper and figure out what I could do. And I thought of this, jot things down! In my case, start pressing away and letters on my phone!

Anyway, I learned that being 15 minutes earlier than the appointed time is being on time. Arriving at the appointment time is kind of being late. And, arriving after your appointment time
would be causal for you to forget about your audition and just go home. From past experiences, I have learned that some casting directors would be understanding and more lenient with tardiness. However, I don't know about you guys but I don't want to find out. Just be on time!
