DTFS Promise Series Part 42: Promise You Can Pray and Easily Talk to God

I was in a super good mood earlier probably because as my writing is going to be about, God answered prayer! He heard my cry and wiped my tears dry. And, I could not think for the life of me what song I wanted to put on my writing today. All I can remember was 3 in the morning. So, I prayed and prayed and looked and researched and finally, God led me to the song! Oh, the little things in life that make me so happy. :-)

Let's Dive In!
This morning what was coming to mind was celebrities. Different kinds of celebrities. Why was that coming to mind? Well, let me tell you. Celebrities are not easy to talk to people. We do not personally know them. All we laymen know about our favorite celebrities is this. We may know what their voice sounds like. We know what they choose to disclose when they are being interviewed by people.

Now, what we don't know is this. We don't know the internal heartaches and pains. We may not know much about their personal lives. Well, nowadays we can just check our phones or turn on our computer and begin possible long hours of research on Google.

However, it's not like they personally told you stuff like they were your friend. So, that's why I believe celebrities are difficult to talk to.

As soon as one accepts the Lord and becomes a born again Christian, I think this happens. I think that will be the time that we will develop a heart that is filled with wanting to pray
sometimes. I mean I'm sure God wants us to speak to him all the time. He would really appreciate it when
His children really give him praise all the time. However, God knows we have lives that are filled with so many responsibilities. I think He understands that we can't speak to him all the time.

Basically, once you accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, I'm saying, well I'm hoping, that person will look differently at the word, "prayer." Is not that an awesome deep thought? I mean when things are not going well for us guys, or when things are going really well for you guys? Perhaps, maybe just want to give God thanks for what he's doing in your life? That certainly would constitute as praying too.

We are giving praise to God! Aren't you glad we don't have to go through bodyguards first before we are able to speak to God?

Wait a minute. I just thought of something. Is that why some people pray to saints or angels first? Do some people think as if they are like God's bodyguards.
Well, if so they need to stop thinking like that. We need to start thinking that Jesus the Son of God died for us so we no longer need intercession folks!! Please just talk straight to
God!
