Let me tell you why do I think that way. First off let me clarify who I'm talking about that loves the day. Friends, I am talking about the evil one. Yes, I believe the evil one loves today.
First of all this is the day out of the year when this is allowed. I'm talking about dressing up in costume at times, depending on the person's choice
Sadly to say, sometimes people want to dress in evil costumes. I really still don't understand why it is that people do that?
Seriously? Do you like seeing scary things? Okay then, well then why would you think other people would like to see scary things?
Just a thought, if you think about it. Why would people want to wear or do something that is meant to scare other people. Doesn't smell like God's way of doing things. That only smells like Satan's way though.
I remember one year. When I was in 6th grade, we would get to go home during lunch to change into our costume. I wore all black And my mom had bought mouse ears and a tail. She bought some black and white face painting makeup.
My neighbor, I call her Auntie Josie did my makeup and made me really look like a mouse. It was a really cute mouse. :-).Way better than my dad's clothes, Sam made costume, I did the year before when I was a man.
Between you and me oh, I'm thinking my mom felt bad she didn't get me a real Halloween costume that year of last. LOL hence the awesome Mouse costume!
Man, I tell you my memory is so weird! It really surprises me sometimes. I also remembered when I got back to grade school in my mouse costume. Usually the students in my sixth grade were supposed to pick out the best costume. Other nice costumes were getting nominated as best costume.
I think I remember it was mostly the popular people. Then, to my surprise my sixth grade teacher. Ms. Ceithaml (probably has a married name now).
But, anyway I remember she did this. She said, " I nominate Samantha. It looks like she had spent much time on especially the makeup of her costume... I guess she felt that I needed to be recognized?
Now that I think about it, perhaps God wanted me to be recognized? Then, I would point the praise to my Auntie Josie who did such a great job on my makeup. She totally made me look like the cutest mouse! So, I think there was a good way of not welcoming evil into Halloween that year.
What did I tell you? My long-term memory is so good. However I won't remember it tomorrow. Pretty sure and I have said it before, I'm pretty sure God made me remember it so I can include it in my writing.
