Hi guys! I had to come back and give shout-outs! So, shout out to Breyanna and Itzo from Golden Nugget! Thank you guys for accepting my card! Hope you two will be encouraged by my writings! Have a blessed rest of your evening!
Good morning you all! Continuing on with the Promise Series. Today's reading is going to be on trust. Once we decide to accept God, we are surely letting Him know that we have trust in God. Let's Dive In!
I am almost certain I have mentioned before in one of these thousand plus
writings, about my loving relationship with my blow dryer. I say loving because I love my blow-dryer! Well, if I didn't mention anything in my writings, let me say this. I am positive I said something about it in one of my YouTube shows, MS Tips By Samantha Recorded by Glady. I have had this disease for almost 20 years. I know what I'm talking about. :)
Fellow MS patients who always have cold hands and feet check it out. You too, none MS patients, check it out! I'm serious! Actually, the other day I saw my caregiver blow-drying her cold feet. I'll say it again check it out!
I don't think cats really like blow dryers. Well, so far I haven't seen a cat that really likes blow dryers. My cat Gideon does not like them. I am thinking that this cat has some mixed feelings about blow dryers. I say that because of this. When my caregiver or Joe is blow drying different parts of my body and Giddy is somewhere near where we are, she leaves as soon as somebody turns the blow dryer on. Or, sometimes she stays right where she is. I guess it just depends on how she feels at the moment.
Now, there are some days this happens. Joe left for work or my caregiver is not here yet. I have to blow dry because my feet are freezing! If Gideon is sitting next to me, she trusts that I'm not going to purposely blow dry her with the blow dryer. It's like she knows my hands and feet are cold and that's when I
turn on the blow dryer.
It's funny because I know she knows when I turn on the blowdryer. Well, actually Giddy's ears are not really working all the way. Meaning, I don't think she can hear properly.
Sometimes her eyes are wide open when she hears it is on. And, then as soon as I turn that off her eyes close. She trusts that I will not hit her with the blowdryer. However, maybe there is just some little part of her that still thinks there may be a chance she will accidentally get hit by the air. I kid you not, sometimes it looks like she really only has one eye open. LOL I guess she just wants to make sure that I won't hit her with the blow dryer. :)
What comes to mind is the children of God. The children of God decided to accept Jesus as their personal Lord and savior. They chose to enter into a relationship with him! Guess what comes with that? Exactly right! Trust!
What about you guys? Do you guys trust in the promises of God? In this series, I know I have spoken about more than two handfuls of some of God's promises! The ball is now in your court. How do you feel about those promises?
TBC.......postponed for now! Will Be Back!!!
