Surprise! I know I just did a writing on the Promise Series a few days ago. Now, I'm back with another writing for the series. Part 72: Promise of eternal life. So, I was watching
a television show yesterday, and the guest and even the name of the show will remain nameless. I actually forgot the name. Which is probably a good thing. Lol. What I will say though is this. The guest is not really known for being a Godly man, doing Godly things like quoting the Bible But, he seems to do more satanic tricks.
So, yesterday what I saw was this. What I heard was this. This person was talking about
eternal life. I was a little excited there. I thought wow he's going to talk about Jesus. Oh boy was I wrong!
Now, that I think about it. Wow, what was said didn't really make sense. I don't even remember how he started talking about the subject of eternal life. Oh well you guys need to hear this!
He was asking the audience do they want eternal life? If the answer was yes and people wanted eternal life they must do this. Ready? He was telling the audience if they want eternal life, they need to leave a mark. Then what this guest did was ask for a volunteer out of the audience. Then, a woman came up to the front. Then, this guy showed ashes of his deceased grandmother. Then after mumbling some words, we see the ashes of the deceased grandmother was marked on the woman's hand who volunteered to be part of the magic trick.
I know! Crazy stuff to me! Yes magic tricks are entertaining. To an extent. I think when the magic tricks goe that far, then I don't think we should learn about that magic trick. Most definitely, do not show others as well. I think when we show the power that Satan can do? That is definitely not good. Guys don't play with that!
I have no idea what relation this person has with God or the Bible. However, God is not going to show it if God didn't say something in his word about certain things. Be careful of what you see. Ask yourselves do you think this is Godly, from God, and of God? And if your answer is no to all of those questions, then I don't think that's from God. Personally, I think that's from the Devil.

Let's get some Bible verses and see what God says about eternal life. Like I said definitely not by leaving a mark!
John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son that whosoever believes in him will not perish but have everlasting life.
John 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life.
John 10:27-28
My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.
And this is eternal life, that they know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.
Matthew 25:46
And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
Romans 10: 13
For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed
