Definitely A Rejoicing Matter

Play for Audio Version

So, yesterday's writing was all about hell. I really am thinking  I may have lost some readers or listeners yesterday.  I say that because some people do not want to hear about the subject of hell.
The subject of hell just scares people.  And, that's probably what it is supposed to do to unbelievers.  I mean it's pretty clear in the Bible what 1 is supposed to do if they want to avoid going to hell.

Perhaps, the subject of hell seems really scary to someone? Or, maybe someone does not even believe that there is a hell. The person believes in God... They just believe that God is so good,  He would not let anyone go to hell. And, yes I agree that God is so good! Yes, all the time!

However, he is also a "just" God. And, because of that? God will send people to hell. Well, maybe it would be better if I put it like this. People who do not become followers of Jesus are creating their fiery destination in hell. God is just allowing it. Would one like to know how not to go to hell? First step is Jesus. Believing in Jesus.

Folks, I have not been to heaven yet. However, from what God says about it in the bible? It seems like a pretty fantastic place one should definitely want to spend eternity at!

The Bible says God has given us eternal life! And, this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life. So, that means Whoever Really believes in The Son of God and what He did for us on the cross has life. Has life? AKA Will go to heaven.

The bible also says this. He who does not have the Son of God does not have life. Does not have life? AKA will spend eternity in hell.

So, basically if one would like to go to heaven after they die? They must do this. John 3:16 says it clearly: For God so loved the world that he gave his
one and only Son that whosoever believes in him will not perish but have everlasting life.
I guess the question is do you even believe in him? If so? Then, I guess we will be seeing each other in heaven for ernity!

On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’
