You can ask my dad because maybe I had this problem ever since I was little. I know that my husband discovered this problem of mine as well. And, it really is quite unfortunate because, I am not intentionally doing it. So, therefore, it's not my fault. Right?
Yea right. To that I say wrong! There ain't nobody to blame for this but yours truly. What is Sam talking about?
I am talking about something that maybe one of you readers right now also have a problem with. I'm talking about finishing what you started. Or, maybe I should say not finishing what you started really. I am imagining some people being like "O yeah, I actually have a problem with that too."
Well, I guess I am not the only one. I do not think there is any need to give personal examples. Nope, not gonna call myself out. I think.
What is coming to mind are Christians. I am thinking about those that said the sinner's prayer and invited Christ to come live in their heart. Yay for those people!
When somebody decides to follow Jesus, that person should be welcoming some responsibilities in their life and walk with God. The problem I see in other Christians including myself sometimes is similar to what I was saying earlier. Well kinda.
Let me elaborate. In the beginning of my writing, I spoke about activities that I began, but never really finished.
I do remember attending a few Bible Studies. I know I used to read my Bible alot before. Church attendance is complicated. Especially with this Coronavirus pandemic. So, not really going to touch on that subject.
In my defense recently over the past few years God has totally made ways to get back to doing certain things.
I have had my guitar since 2008, and stopped learning how to play that. Until these past few years. I reconnected with an old guitar teacher friend on Facebook and getting tips from him. Also got a keyboard a few years ago. So, trying to exercise fingers so I can use my right hand more again.
And, just recently, my dad got me a Karaoke. So, that is helping me with singing again!
Unfortunately, the MS has really attacked my vocal muscles. But, singing more is definitely helping with exercising my Voice!
You all can hear when I speak these writings how weak my voice can get. I know that if I keep working hard, God can get me back to where I used to be.
Fellow Christians. What about you guys ? When it wacomes to reading The Bible? Have you started to read it? Maybe you read parts of it but not the whole thing? Or, have you just completely stopped reading it?
Pause break. I am remembering Joe. When he 1st became a born again Christian, this guy would read The Bible! He was hungry for the word of God. He was in college so he would read on the train going to school. And then read on the train going home from school. The end result was he read the whole Bible in 6 months!
That was 2001.
At that time, unfortunately, I was not yet a finisher of reading The Bible. However, after reading and finishing it the 1st time? I would read it over and over. To this day I am still reading it. I suggest if you are interested In reading The Bible? Definitely check out the 1-Year bible reading plan by Nicky and Pippa Gumbel on YouVersion. You can either read it or listen to it.

Continuing on. Maybe it's about going to church? You just keep telling yourself that you will go check out this one church you always want to go to. But, you don't know why it just never happens.
Perhaps, it's attending bible study that your friend is always asking you to go to with them? Same thing. You never go.
To reiterate, I found myself acting the same way with a number of different activities I had either physically started. Or, had stored in my mind the Deep Thought of wanting to start the activity.
Maybe, today is the day to start? Or maybe today is the day to continue what you started? Or, you know what? Perhaps today is the day you are going to set a goal for yourself a day you will have Completed what you started?
Romans 12:2
Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
1 John 4: 1, 4
Dear friends, do not believe everyone who claims to speak by t2he Spirit. You must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from God. For there are many false prophets in the world. But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.
