I forget that fact more times than I would like. Dear God help me to always remember that because it is so true! Are You guys like me? Meaning, do you waste energy fighting a battle that's not even yours to fight?
Seriously, I do that a lot. Why do I do that? Well, I can say a copout thing by saying something like, "oh I do that because I am human." Though that may be so true? I also have to think about it like this.
I am a human that is a child of God. And, I should always remember. God says in His word time and time again He fights His Kids battles for them.
Exodus 14:14
The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.”
You will not need to fight in this battle. Stand firm, hold your position, and see the salvation of the Lord on your behalf, O Judah and Jerusalem.’ Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed. Tomorrow go out against them, and the Lord will be with you.”
