DTFS What Every Marriage Needs VLOG #1
We kind of had a late start in reading it. I say that because we really should of started reading it as soon as we got married. However, we have probably only been reading for the past 5 years. What do we do when we finish the 30 days? Answer is we read it again. And, we're still going
I would say I pretty much know a thing or 2 or 3, 4....about being married. As of September 4, 2020? Joe and I have been married for 12 years.
I really believe that there should always be... I know there not always is. Because, it so difficult to give to people at times. What is Samantha talking about?
Let's Recap.
1. Your spouse loves you. Your spouse did marry you right? Your spouse chose you! He could have chosen somebody else. But your spouse chose to marry you!
2. Showing grace to your spouse will make you notice all of the good things your spouse does for you that alot of times go unnoticed.
3. Showing grace will help you realize that reacting in love instead of anger will help you and your spouse develop more respect for each other. Well, everyone is different. So, I will say it might help you develop more respect for each other. Yes, I think that sounds much better. Don't you?
You know who gives us grace, that we really don't deserve? God does! Did you all know that we all deserve to go to hell? Romans 3:23 says: For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Then comes the good news from Romans 6:23 that says For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life!
Shall I continue? I shall. So, to reiterate we all deserve to go to hell. Yes, we are just bad people. However, we don't have to because Jesus Christ suffered, died, was buried and rose to life!
John 3:16 says: For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only son that whoso ever believes in him will not perish but have aeverlasting life.

I really believe that there should always be... I know there not always is. Because, it so difficult to give to people at times. What is Samantha talking about?
I am talking about grace. Wives, extending to their husband grace. Husbands extending to their wife grace. I know! It is very difficult!
Let's 1st define grace. Grace is showing kindness to those who don't deserve it. Fellow wives? I know how do we do that? You husbands out there. How do you do that?
I once heard that showing grace to your spouse will change your marriage in positive ways. Like for example, you know the good and kind things your spouse does for you, that sometimes goes unnoticed? ( Felllow wives? Maybe you are like me. At times will be told by our husband something like this, " You only remember the bad things I do! Never appreciate or remember the good things I do for you! I'm the bad husband. I am not the enemy!"
Sound familiar wives? And, well personally I really don't know why that is how my memory is. It is what it is. And, really all I can at least try to do is remember the good things my husband does for me. Because I know that my husband's good qualities and good things he does for me does outweigh the bad stuff. Think about that of your husband, fellow wives.

I probably sound like a broken record. I am always trying to spread the gospel somehow on the blog. Well, all that matters is that the message of Jesus was heard loud and clear by many people. Perhaps some people did not hear directly from my mouth. How ever whoever told the person was influenced by what I did. So, I think Sam deserves some points for obedience. RIGHT God?
Shall I continue? I shall. So, to reiterate we all deserve to go to hell. Yes, we are just bad people. However, we don't have to because Jesus Christ suffered, died, was buried and rose to life!
John 3:16 says: For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only son that whoso ever believes in him will not perish but have aeverlasting life.
So, there goes the bad news :(. That was temporary. God
knew there was purpose in what was about to happen. Then, because of what Jesus did there was good news!
Now, the ball is in your court! What are you gonna do? I remember the pastor of my church. Pastor Gerry. In one of his messages He was speaking about the gift that Jesus gave us.
He used the example of a dollar bill. He was saying if we wanted the dollar bill he was offering to us? Then, all we had to do was just take it. The bible says Jesus stands at the door of your heart and knocks. He wants you to let him in. He won't force His way into your life. We need to make that decision ourselves.
Folks what about you guys? Do you want the gift that Jesus Christ is giving to us? Do you want it? If so? Grab it and take it! Do you want to spend eternity in heaven with Jesus Christ after you leave this Earth? I do. And, I will! The question is will you?

Revelation 3:20
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.
