—Hebrews 13:8
If you are somebody that has Facebook? ( Which is like everyone right? Well, I do know some people who refuse to get a Facebook account. ) So, for those select few? I guess you would not know what I am talking about.
Now, for the rest of you that regularly go on Facebook, are you familiar with the memories feature? Basically, there would be times when I would log in and then I would be reminded of picturp posted from past years. cool.
A couple of days ago when I checked my Facebook account, I was greeted with this memory. It was when I was admitted to the hospital and had to stay for a number of days.
I remember I had my own room and Joe was able to stay. I can oever c being in the hospihaving go through " stuff" in a hospital? What comes to mind is EKG and MS attack. Oh, and the Heparin shot tthe nurses did on me every hour. So, I would not get blood clots from alway laing on the hospital bed.
My late friend, who is now home with the Lord always used to tell me, " That Heparin shot hurt like the D1
ickens!" And, to that I say, " Oh so true Ron! SO TRUE!
Now, Why am I even sharing this with you guys? Well, I just want you to see how really important it is for us to remind ourselves this. We really need to. I promise it helps.
It's pretty awesome to remind ourselves of how the Lord Jesus sees you when you are at your lowest of lows. And, he helps you. Like, for me personally? When I was in the hospital I was given a solo room. My husband chose to stay with me. My husband's work understood the situation. God provided only for me to be well enough to leave sooner than later from the hospital, And, probably many other things.
See, the Lord does not and will not sugar coat it. His word says in this world we will have trouble. But, we have overcome the world! I once heard this. There may be times when we get in some kind of trouble. And, the Lord may choose to get you out of that difficult situation. Or, He may not. However, one thing we know for sure is this. He will always be with us when we go through it.
Let me end with some encouraging words from Pastor Greg Laurie.
" Remember that whenever you’re tempted to say that God has abandoned you. No, He hasn’t. God was with you yesterday, He is with you today, and He will be there for you tomorrow." GL
