Can you right now think of what you would consider a deterrent? I mean when it comes to your faithfulness to God. What comes to mind is my smart cell phone. Do you guys have one too? What are your Deep Thoughts?
Seriously? Does one even remember what life was like before these devices? These smartphones that the majority of the world are probably aways on?
I am remembering talking face-to-face with people more. Not just texting, going on face time, video chats, zoom, etc. Or, any other websites offering this form of communication.
I am very thankful to God for providing these things especially in this time of this horrible pandemic. A time where meeting face-to-face with people is frowned upon. Yep, something that was needed to be avoided If you wanted to stay alive.
Also, Encyclopedias is also what comes to mind. They are large text books one had to read in order to gain more knowledge about a particular subject. Yep, that is what we had to do before we had the Internet. Or, before " Google" was available.
Sorry, I got a little side tracked. Honestly, I was about to tell you about more of what we used to have lol. I was almost on the road to reminiscing back to the nineties! Lol. My intention is not to do that.

I can think of many examples of why that is true. However, I don't think I am going to call myself out. I am very sure you guys will be able to imagine. I guess there are people our there who also feel that at times their phone is a little much.
