Eyes Were Opened

Play For The Audio Version

I'm thinking back to that one hot summer day in June of 1995.  My life totally changed. I went from being a non believer of Jesus Christ to being a  believer of Jesus Christ.

Do I really know if it was a really,  a hot summer day?  Lol I don't remember details that far back. Maybe it was really hot? I mean it was summer!

My eyes were definitely opened. Just like a newborn Chihuahua 8-9 weeks after the mama Chihuahua gave birth. My Chihuahua, Chewee's eyes were closed  when I 1st saw a picture of him.  Seriously, I didn't really think much of his appearance when I 1st saw a picture of him on my phone.

That was because his eyes were closed. I couldn't really tell. All I thought was, ew, this one wasn't cute.

When his eyes opened up? He was so cute! His eyes were like gray or green. Sometimes, they even look black. I guess it depends on the day. And, how they look in the light. They are definitely some beautiful eyes!

When this little puppy's eyes opened up he would soon he able see so much more.  He soon would be able to see me and Joe.  His new puppy parents.

What comes to mind Is the Bible story about Paul.  Paul used to be named Saul.  Basically Saul was not a believer of Jesus.   Not only was he an unbeliever of Jesus, but his wickedness didn't stop there.

This man was even putting more flame to the fire. The fire that was building up the Lord's anger already.  Saul hated the Lord's followers and threatened to kill them!

One day the Lord had enough. He spoke to Saul and asked him why  Saul kept persecuting him. After much talk when Saul opened his eyes, he was blind.

God told him he must go to Damascus.  God had spoken to one of his followers named Ananias.  He was telling him that a man from Tarsus ( Saul) was praying to him  because he was blind and wanted to see again. Ananias knew  exactly who the Lord was talking
about. He knew that Saul was killing people who were the Lord's followers. But, the Lord said to go. So, Ananias went.

When they saw each other, Ananias healed Saul.  Something like scales began to fall from his eyes. He regained his sight. Saul became one of the Lord's followers.

What an awesome story!  Maybe you guys are ones that need some healing with something? Or,  Perhaps the Lord thinks the imr one that needs a wake up call. Because you are not a follower of Jesus?

Maybe, it's time for you yourself to say a prayer to Jesus?  Please don't mis understand. I am not saying that the Lauren is definitely going to heal you Our answer your prayers in your favour. I am not God. So, I don't kno what He is going to do.

I know is daddy will answer our prayers he way he thinks is best. Is far as him doing some divine miraculous things as a way to answer our prayers?Well, he did do it before with Saul.  AndGod is God And, he can do whatever He deems best for us.  Could it be there's somebody listening right now that could relate to the story. of Saul?
