He Prayed

Play For The Audio            Version

When people ask me to pray for them? What I immediately do is put it in my phone right away. Or, pray right then and there.  It really depends on the situation. Usually, i do it so I don't forget.

When Jesus was on Earth he prayed a lot! He prayed when He was walking on the Earth all the way to when He was hanging on the cross about to die. I don't know about you guys but I never really thought of how profound that really is.  Personally I can only hope and pray that I would be like more than a prayer warrior like Jesus. If you think about it? Prayer is not all about having prayer needs.

If you are a loyal reader of my blog you may remember my reading on A.C.T.S. Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, and Supplication
Nice acronym. I learned when I was 15 when I used to attend a Wednesday night youth group.

So, I think God really appreciates the letter "T" of that acronym. Thanksgiving. Actually, Ya the Thanksgiving part is probably Iike music to God's ears.

Did what I just say speak to your heart? What was it telling you guys? What was it telling you Sam?

Well, for me that was a conviction to the heart. Yep I guess I should say thank you to God more. He has blessed me with many things that i really don't even deserve.

Why don't we,say " Thank you" to God more? Well, You guys can answer that for yourselves. For me? I just think it's forgetfulnes.

Wait a minute! That was a cop out kind of answer. Well, No
because it could seriously be that I forget sometimes. However, I also think it can be because of mere Laziness. And, That probably overpowers forgetfulness.

No matter what the reason is? Only we know. Only we can fix that and do something about it! I challenge us to incorporate in our prayers and say thank you more to God for what he has blessed us with. I hope this helps. I do remember sometimes. Then, I will forget other
times!

John 6:11

Jesus then took the loaves, and when he had given thanks, he distributed them to those who were seated. So also the fish, as much as they wanted.

Mark 1:35

And rising very early in the morning, while it was still dark, he departed and went out to a desolate place, and there he prayed.

Luke 5:16

But he would withdraw to desolate places and pray.

Mark 6:46

And after he had taken leave of them, he went up on the mountain to pray.

Matthew 14:23

And after he had dismissed the crowds, he went up on the mountain by himself to pray. When evening came, he was there alone,
