Days Are Numbered

Let me 1st begin my writing with a question. And, that is this. Did you all know that Let me explain more of what I'm saying. 

The title of my writing this morning is  "Days Are Numbered. " Who do you all think I'm talking about? Am I talking about God?  Nope I am not talking about God.  Am I talking about us humans? Well, kind of. I definitely need to elaborate more on that.

Actually, I am talking about the evil one. Yup, I am talking about his days being numbered.  Let's be honest. You guys probably never even thought about that. Did you?

1st of all what comes to mind is some years ago. Joe and I acted in a play called "Fiery Destination."   It was exactly a play leading up to satan's fiery destination.

I had the role of the book of life recorder and a Dark Angel.  What happened was that I had done a previous play before and the director was doing another play. She wanted  me to play the role of the book of life recorder and a Dark Angel. Then my husband had ended up playing the starring role of Lucifer.  Those were fun times!

OK let me talk a little bit about satan and God's will for him.  Well, 1st of all did you know the Bible says that satan is the Prince of the world. He is the father of lies!  He really is all the bad stuff! Satan is the Prince of this fallen world

Every human has a choice. They can be either for God or against God. And, if they are against God then they are for the enemy.

Friends, please understand. God is letting the evil one be free to do whatever he wants. As he is doing with us humans. 

There will be a day when there will be no more evil one.  The evil one is here now in the world. And he is wreaking so much havoc. I mean don't you see if when you watch the news and hear about murder and so much crime! So, Satan has been living in this world since the fall of Adam-and-Eve.

 

When God comes back and collects all His children, that will be the day that satan and all of his followers will be thrown into the Lake of Fire where they will no longer be existing!

Revelation 20:10 

And the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Revelation 21:8

But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

Revelation 20:15

And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

Matthew 25:41

“Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels

1st Peter 5 8

Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

1st John 519

We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.

John 12:31

Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out.

** Please don't misunderstand satan is not the one doing the sin. I believe He is whispering in people's minds and temhen. in That is how the humans give birth to sin.
