Leave It To God!

Play For The Audio Version

What comes to mind is this. It's bound to happen. It is just a part of life. The nasty part.

I am talking about hurt. Wives hurting their husband. Husbands hurting their wife. Parents hurting their children. Children hurting their parents. Friend's hurting other friends. You guys fill in the blanks. __ hurting __.

Don't you know you are just supposed to leave it to beaver 🦫? Lol No, just kidding. Just seeing if you guys are paying attention. Cool picture though. You guys know I do crazy talk sometimes just to wake you up. Lol

What I really mean to say is leave it to the Lord. I am the daughter of Christ.  If someone were to hurt me, I need to forgive. I know there are times I hurt Christ. And, he forgave me! So, I should do what he wants me to do. And, that is to forgive others.

Let's ask ourselves are we true christians? Personally, I would say so. You all? You have to decide and speak for yourself

OK, for the true christians? Are we really going to waste time and dili daily thinking about whether we are going to Forgive this person that hurt me? I don't think it's our place to double think what we already know that God wants us to forgive. It should be simple right?
Simple? Forgiving someone who
hurt you is simple?
Yeah it is simple maybe for God?

I imagine it like this. If someone hurts God? God doesn't even have to think twice. He just automatically forgives.

Me? If someone were to hurt me? I do hope that in the end I will forgive. I know it is most likely not going to be a quick turn around. However, I think that's OK. As long as it Will end up to be forgiveness.

Let me end my reading this morning with some thoughts from Pastor Greg Laurie. He says "If you’re a follower of Jesus, then you should obey the Lord in this area. When you don’t forgive, you’re not only disobeying Scripture, but you’re essentially taking the place of God Himself.

When you decide to hold back your mercy, forgiveness, and love, then basically you’re saying, “I will repay” instead of leaving it in the hands of God."

Whoa I don't want to be taking the place of God! It is definitely not like I know any better than God! So, I think I will just leave it to God!

Romans 2:19

Beloved, do not aavenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, ‘Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,’ says the Lord.”
