Do you love God? If you answer yes to the question? Then why contribute to the evil in the world. Really, the bad stuff you see on the news. Well, that is if you do.

If you love God? Then, my guess is that you would follow him. You would serve only him. What exactly does that mean? Yes, of course don't worship or bow down to other Gods.

What exactly does that mean? No, you are right if you are thinking that you should not all of the sudden become a jehovah’s witness or worship hare krishna, or any other false religion. 

However, also think of it like this. The command is don't put any other gods before Jesus right? Well, any other God does not have to be another false religion or mythical creature you may worship. 

Lord Jesus Christ is more concerned about people's priorities. Are they putting watching the big game on Sunday ahead of spending time with Jesus at church. If so? Then that's an example of putting other gods before Jesus. 

Pastor Greg Laurie once said in one of his devotions I read every morning the following sentence. " all starts with God’s place in our lives because we’ll serve what we worship. If God isn’t number one in your life, then everything else will be in chaos. But if God is number one in our lives, then everything else will find its proper balance. "

Exodus 20:4

“You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
