Let It Go Again!
Before I start my writing, I wanted to give a shout out to my new friend/ puppy trainer, Kathleen J-W! Of course, I gave her a card. Girl, I hope you are encouraged by my writings! Have a great day! See you next week!
Well, for today's writing I want to talk about letting go of an unforgiving spirit. So, yeah make sure that unforgiving spirit of yours does not turn into you holding a grudge on the person who hurt you. I know you know this.
However, I am going to say it again. Perhaps, you need a wake up call. And, you need to hear it again. I know I could hear it again.
Sam is not perfect. Sam will mess up. And, Sam will hurt people. Stay away from her. lol Oh yea, that's all of us. Seriously, maybe it helps people to actually hearthemselves say this stuff. Remember don't forget to change Sam to your name. I mean I don't mind if you say my name of you really want to. You guys do whatever tickles your elmo!
I bet there are people right now who were thinking about taking revenge. Is that you? Were you unable to get some sleep because your mind was so wrapped up in how you want to take revenge on the person?
Friend, you really shouldn't think like that. Did someone hurt you? Oh man I'm sorry that sucks! I get it. Sometimes we think pay back is the ultimate goal.
News Flash! Sometimes logical things we want to do are not biblical things. So, what exactly is the biblical thing to do? Plain and simple. Well, maybe minus the simple part.
Personally, I think those are times we need to show forgiveness. I don't have to tell you. What Sam!? Do you know how difficult that really is?! And, to that I say this.
"Yes friend actually I do because I am a human just like you Sorry, there really is no excuse to not forgive. Not for you. Not for me!
Now, what exactly is the moral of the writing? You are right if you said letting go and forgive. Smart people!
Ephesians 4:31-32
"Let bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with almalice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
