Do you enjoy sports? Maybe you are a wife whose husband really likes sports. Or, maybe you are a husband whose wife really likes sports?

Maybe there's no liking of sports whatsoever from you. And, you really just don't care about sports. And, you really just want me to shut up about sports. That may be the case. Everyone is different!

Well, in any case what comes to mind is this. With any sport you play? That sport is going to have rules. Just like in life. In life there's going to be rules we have to obey. We have to obey God's rules.

Let's talk a little bit about the sport, football. There's rules the players have to follow. These rules are not designed to take the fun out of the game. They are designed so people get full enjoyment of the game.

In football, players can't grab other player's facemask. “No player shall grasp and then twist, turn or pull the facemask, chin strap or any helmet opening of an opponent.” Why? Well, doesn't it just sound very dangerous? I am sure people play the game of football to have fun. Not to get severely hurt.

I mean I get it because sometimes people do get really hurt when playing the football game. I just hope those are times when it really was an accident. I just think there are times players should really not let too much focus on winning the game overpower severely hurting someone.

Let's look at 2 people in the combat sport  boxing. Players can't punch other players below the belt. Because I'm thinking most probably " Ow, for the genitals!" So, that is probably a really good rule to  have. Seriously, I mean people can get really mad at other. People don't know what people would do if they wouldn't be penalised for doing such a horrible thing.

So disorganized it would be! Lacking fairness from all players. Would there really be a true winner? I use the word true or genuine winner because of this. If the players had no rules to follow? Who really knows what the players do to get that W. Who knows
 
Now, let's talk about God and him putting rules in our lives. Well,  I think God is trying to save us from living in chaos.
Can you imagine how chaotic life would be if there were no rules?

What if killing someone was permitted? The only thing is it needed to be done with a gun of a particular color. That sounds crazy!
If that ever were to be true. Makes me wonder, would there even be anyone alive on the Earth?
