Sharing Space

The subject of today's writing is very important. Well, I guess the subject of all the writings I do are very important. However, I guess I should say the reading I do for the day is especially meant for you.

I really have no idea who it is specifically. I am just feeling like there is someone out there who really could use my advice. Like right now! 

Remember, this blog has readers from around the whole world. With different time zones. It maybe 3:45 am, where I am. However it may be 3:45 pm across the globe. sn't that just a fascinating Deep Thought? 

The title of my writing today has to do with sharing your space. What do you think that means? Well, it can mean many things. 

However, today I am specifically going to talk about who do you hang around with. When all of us hang around people,we are all sharing space. I bet you never really thought about it like that. 

Well, let me tickle your brain a bit more and say this. Are you sharing good space or bad space with people? Basically, I am trying to ask you this, "who do you hang around with?"

No, I am not about to say this. " If you are a Christian then you are only to hang around other Christians. Or, if you are a none Christian you are only to hang around with other non-Christians. Pay attention please. I am definitely not saying that!

2 Corinthians 6:14. The NIV mtranslation says, “Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. The Bible does not say that born again Christian believers are not supposed to hang out with non-believers. I really think that there are some people out there that actually think like that. I believe the term that non believers use to call believers is Bible thumpers. 

So, I guess Born again Christian believers are being ridiculed for reading and wanting to know more about the Bible? To me that is not being ridiculed. That's a plus! I would not mind at all being pointed out as someone who reads the Bible! 

Yes, I do read my Bible. However, I know I could spend more time reading and studying His word. Definitely a prayer request for me! 

Back to the point of my reading today! Oh yes, sharing space. Perfect example! Me and my now husband, Joe. 

When we 1st met Joe was not a Christian believer. Perfect example of hanging out with none christians. I still hung out with him. He was my boyfriend for many years. Yes many, many, years.

Then, came a day when the Lord really spoke to my heart. Remember what I said earlier about how the Bible said. Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. Well, that verse came to my heart. 

The Lord was definitely trying to wake me up! And, that's exactly what He did. Long story short. God spoke to my heart. I listened. God spoke to Joe's heart. And, he listened. 

The final outcome is that we are happily married. Almost 15 years! Joe actually has a very encouraging Testimony you should hear! 

Since it is not my story to tell. What I can do is this. I could ask Joe if he wouldn't mind if I shared his testimonial video he had.

I don't think he will mind. But, I will still mask just to be sure. Please keep an eye out for that.
