Do you ever wonder? I mean do you ever wonder why? Specifically, do you ever wonder why your prayers that you have been saying over and over? Your prayers that you have been asking God to answer.... It seems like they are just not getting any attention! Your prayers really are not getting answered
You know what I'm talking about? I bet you know exactly what I'm talking about. Are you in the same predicament right now?
I'm not thinking about my own prayers very clearly right now. However, I myself may even be. Well, if not I know I was in the type of predicament in the past.
I'm going to share a bible verse that I'm thinking probably will answer a lot of questions, like why your prayer is not getting answered.
I once heard that when it comes to prayer there are certain things that can get in the way. Scripture says that sin can block our relationship with God. “If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened” (Psalm 66:18). Jesus instructs, “When you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven can forgive you your sins” (Mark 11:25)
I don't know about you? But, I find that to be a very interesting verse. Definitely a wake up call kind of verse.
Guys, if you have something against your neighbor? We have to forgive them so our heavenly father can forgive us of our sin!
Oh my goodness if I had any sin In my heart? What? Scripture says that If I have any unconfessed sin in my heart God doesn't even listen to what I have to say?
Matthew 6:15
But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not Forgive you of your sin.
I'll say it again. Do you have someone you need to forgive? Do you have any unconfessed sin in your life? You have to forgive them 1st so your heavenly father can forgive you of your own have your own sin!
Psalms 32:1
Blessed is the one whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.
Matthew 18:21-22
Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.
Luke 6:37
“Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
Colossians 3:13
Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you
1st John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all
