Have you ever thought about this? There is 24 hours in one day. How many of those hours do you spend having name with God?
Personally? I choose not to say. As you guys probably don't want to share with me as well. It's OK. It is what it is.
I will say that it definitely could be more. Oh yeah I know it should be more. More time than what it really is.
However, like you guys? I have many distractions when I go through life. Maybe, some of you guys do what I end up doing sometimes. I call it wrongly prioritizing things.
Do you guys do this too?
For those of you who don't understand what I mean? God should always be our number one priority. If one chooses to stay home one Sunday morning to watch a football game? Instead of Going to church? Do you guys see how that is not exactly seeing God as your number one Priority.
That person doing that is making watching the game their number one priority. To God that person is breaking the commandment about worshipping Idols. God hates it when we do that because he is a jealous God!
Let me guess. I bet you never thought of worshipping idols in that sense. Did you? I'm going to guess you didn't. Well, because I know I didn't. However, I shouldn't say that about you guys because everyone is different. So, maybe you didn't. If so? Good for you!
Anyway, I'm sure
God would want us to give him our time. Pay attention because I'm not saying God would just take and make sure he had all of our time. He could do that if he wanted. But, no, I'm saying he would appreciate it if we
would give him our time
He knows that lives get busy. He understands. That is why he is probably happy with however much time we choose to spend with him. Feel so sad for God when we, His own people don't give him any time.
Fellow born again Christian believer? Do you remember what it means when you became the child of Christ? I mean do you remember what you said you would give to Jesus?
I am not talking about religion. I'm talking about Jesus Christ. More so, I am talking about having a relationship with Jesus Christ!
When we chose to follow Christ, We begin to have a personal relationship with him. I think Jesus is just waiting for some of us to make do on what we said we would give him. Don't some of you?
