Hey everybody you know what time it is? It is time to revisit my "star" series. What? Some of you are probably thinking what is Sam talking about?
Well, there was a time several months ago, I started writing about different bible characters I felt had an encouraging story. Exactly, why do they deserve to be a Star? I never ended the series.
I just postponed the ending and revisit it every now and then.
Today I want to write about Daniel. The story about Daniel in the lion's den is found in Daniel chapter 6 in The Bible.
I am not going to give too much away about the story of Daniel. Please check out the book of Daniel in the Bible. Basically, the king at the time of Daniel said that whoever prayed to someone other than the king would be thrown in the lion's den.
I can only hope and pray that 1 day I will be able to do what this man did. I am talking about Daniel. He stayed in the lion's den. This was where the lions could have easily eaten and killed Daniel. However, Daniel had so much faith in his God. Daniel knew that God would save him from the lions before they could even touch him.
Well, spoiler alert. Just kidding no spoiler alert. Yeah, right I am not going to spoil the ending. If you would like to know the ending check out the Bible book of Daniel!

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God,
2 Timothy 1:9
Who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began
